What this would cost you to hire in-house
A fixed monthly package covers what would otherwise mean recruiting, training and managing a hire — plus salary, employer taxes, pension/benefits contributions and software costs on top of the headline rate below. Rates shown in GBP.

A single in-house hire at these rates rarely covers bookkeeping, reconciliations, payables, reporting and advisory all at once — most growing businesses need a blend of several of these roles. Our packages give you that blend at a fixed monthly cost, so you can budget with certainty instead of absorbing headcount risk.
Even at minimum wage, hiring costs more
The UK National Living Wage is £12.71/hour (from April 2026, for workers 21+). A single full-time hire at that rate — before any bookkeeping experience, employer taxes, pension/benefits contributions, recruitment or training costs are added — already comes to roughly:

That’s more than our entire Full Finance Function package (from £1,200/mo) — and a minimum-wage hire still wouldn’t have the experience to do the work. Real bookkeeping and accounting roles start well above minimum wage, as the table above shows.
